Check Out Our Nine New Advanced Interactions!

Ultra, Professional Premium, and Mobile Ultra users can now take advantage of nine new advanced interaction pages.

To see the new advanced interaction pages on an existing course, you must update the style files. To do this, open your course in the authoring tool. Click on the "Edit Course Settings" button at the top of the screen.

Next, click on the course style, then check the box next to "Update Style Files."

Click on "Update Course."

Make sure you clear your cache and you should see the new advanced interaction pages option appear when you add a new page.

Important New Features for Unison Users

We have updated Unison to include the following new features:

• Enhanced Issue Tracking: We have upgraded the issue management system to include a color indicator on the "My Projects" tab, making it quick and easy to identify how many open, verify, and closed issues you have been assigned. There are now two ways to view the issues, and even a way to make an issue "private."
  

• Customized Reminders: Administrators now have the ability to email customized reminders to team members.

Enhanced Issue Tracking
Assigned Issues
When you open the "My Projects" tab, you will now be able to just glance at the issue color indicator to see how many open, verify, and closed tickets have been assigned to you on each project.

Viewing the Issues
If you want to view the complete list of all issues, click on the light bulb icon. If you want to view only the open issues, click on the number in red on the color indicator. If you want to view issues that need to be verified, click on the number in yellow on the color indicator. If you need to view issues that have been closed, click on the number in green on the color indicator.

There are also two ways to view the issues. Once you have clicked on the issues (either the light bulb icon or from the color indicator), you can change the way you view the list of issues by clicking on the row or grid icons.

And, as always, you can click on the "Download Excel" link to down load the list of issues as an Excel spreadsheet.

Making Issues Private
You can make new and existing issues private (hidden from reviewers) by going to the "Manage Issues" link under the "Authoring" tab. Click on "Add a New Issue" (or click on edit for an existing issue) and check the box next to "Private Note" under the issue text field.



Adding Customized Reminders
To send a customized reminder for an existing course, click on the "Admin" tab and then click on the "View/Update Project" Link.

Locate the project and then click on the project name. You will now be able to view the "Project Information" and "Optional" expanding menu (as illustrated in the image to the left.

Make sure that your project has a due date, and then select the team members to whom you want to send an email reminder, select the day, and type in a personalized reminder message. Your team members will receive this reminder by email.

Scroll down to the very bottom and fill in the Ballot Validation information (Customer name, company name, etc.) and click on "Submit."

Unison Version 5 - New Features

Rapid Intake would like to announce the official release of version 5 of Unison™, the online, collaborative e-learning authoring tool. We've implemented several feature requests, fixes, and several major changes that we would like to let you know about, so you can take advantage of them.

Multiple Account Levels

Unison now offers 3 different account levels for users to choose from, based on their needs. The feature differences and price for each level can be found on the Unison pricing page. As a thank you, all current Unison users who purchased before the price changes will receive a free upgrade to the Professional Premium level of Unison.

HTML5 (mobile) Publishing

All users now have the option to upgrade to the Ultra Premium level of Unison, which allows for publishing to HTML5 format. The new HTML5 publishing will allow courses to play on supported mobile devices, as well as on a desktop computer through a browser in Flash format. With the ability to publish courses to both Flash and HTML5, developers can host a course on their LMS that can be accessed from a computer or laptop by one learner, and a mobile device from another. Bookmarking works seamlessly so that if a learner accesses a course via desktop computer and leaves the course before finishing, they can visit the same course on the LMS with a mobile device and pick up where they left off.

New Documentation Wiki

All documentation for Unison, mLearning Studio and Review has been moved to the Rapid Intake Documentation Wiki, which can be accessed by clicking the "Support" link in your Unison account. The documentation wiki will allow members of the Rapid Intake support staff to maintain the documentation for these products more accurately.

New Deploy Page

To allow for HTML5 (mobile) and Flash joint deployment, the deploy page of Unison has been updated. You may now send public link via email directly in Unison. The deployment tabs have also been redesigned to be more intuitive and user-friendly.
